In 2008 we celebrate
our 25th anniversary in the timber sector. Our course
is characterized by the implementation of the company's
long term strategy.
1983
Interwood is founded with its primary
activity to import softwood timber from Sweden and
Finland.
1989
Imports of hard timber from N. America are initiated.
During the same period the company expands its activities
by importing industrial wood products.
1991
New co operations are initiated with production
units from Czech Republic and Slovakia.

First imports from Africa and Far East begin.
1998
Creation of warehouse premises and extension
of the sales network to Northern Greece
1999
Deal for representation of established Russian
wood timber brand for Greece and Cyprus.
1999
Buy out of ELSCAN s.a , the
biggest representative of wood - timber products in Greece
and KATAKOUZINOS s.a a respectable wood
timber merchant
2004
Creation of the new logistics center in Nothern
Greece in an area of 73.000 sqm of private land.
2006
Interwood becomes the main shareholder of listed
company XYLEMPORIA ATENE
2008
Expansion of Interwood's product portfolio in
the following wood timber products:
Melamine Faced Chipboard
Worktops
Cross Laminated Timber |
